Division of the Vice Provost for University Life (VPUL) is Penn’s foremost provider of student services and educational access. Duties

This position provides administrative support and reports directly to the Executive Director of VPUL Facilities, which includes classrooms facilities, VPUL Office Facilities, Penn Student Agencies, and Perelman Quadrangle & VPUL Performing Arts Facilities. This position must be knowledgeable of all the resources and services available through Perelman Quadrangle and VPUL Performing Arts Facilities to augment the event planning, sales, and marketing efforts as necessary.

Qualifications

A. A High School Diploma or GED is required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).B. Two to three years administrative support experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.C. Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are requiredD. Working knowledge of Windows 2016, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat required.E. Experience with or willingness to learn Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) required. F. Experience with or willingness to learn web content management systems, event management software, Campus Labs, and Qualtrics required.G. Candidate should have the ability to prioritize assignments and manage projects independently with minimal supervision.H. Must have demonstrated ability to work with a diverse clientele consisting of student, faculty, alumni, administrators, and the general public customer base.
