This position provides a high level of administrative support to the Office of the Dean, School of Veterinary Medicine to ensure that the office operates effectively while maintaining the utmost level of confidentiality. Provide periodic support for Associate Dean of Education and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs. Responsibilities include managing routine/non-routine tasks and highly visible projects; correspondence between the Dean’s Office, Vet School departments and other high-level University officials. Coordinate the processes for various faculty actions.Manage, plan, and schedule meetings, staff events, organize agendas. Greet and assist all visitors, students, faculty and staff to the Office of the Dean, handle incoming calls Coordinate complex travel arrangements. Handle on-line updates for Vet School website. Collaborate with IT and Development departments to implement internal website policies and protocols. Manage posts and assist with training contributors.
A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Skills in Word, Powerpoint, Excel, web-based programs. Must have effective skills in managing a complex busy meeting calendar, excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to manage interactions with executive level administrators, faculty and staff. Must be able to maintain utmost levels of confidentiality and tact.
