This role will report to the Associate Director of Operations and will be responsible for application processing and inquiry management. The incumbent will take lead on addressing inquiries in the admissions inbox and in processing, updating, and completing applications. Fluency is using our application system is expected as the individual in this role will assist with trouble shooting issues and training stakeholders. The incumbent will manage work study students who assist with application processing. Finally, event support for our various on/off campus events is needed as well as management of recruitment.
An Associate’s degree or two-year college equivalent and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Competency with computer software is essential, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. Willingness to learn new technologies and knowledge of higher education software highly desirable. Excellent written, oral and customer service skills, including telephone and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to successfully organize and prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment is a must. Team player, flexible, and productive under pressure with a positive attitude. Ability to handle confidential information and to work independently. Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed. Knowledge of admissions as well as Penn systems is a plus.
