Duties

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director of Admissions will function as a full member of the Wharton MBAAdmissions Committee. Responsibilities include the evaluation and selection of applicants for MBA admission, recruitmentpresentations to audiences domestic and international, conducting and evaluating MBA interviews, participation in admissionscommittee, management of strategic projects and ongoing relationship management. Specifically the Associate Director ofAdmissions will have a role in the continual evolution of the evaluation and selection process in the office of MBA Admissions.The Associate Director of Admissions will be responsible for continual analysis of data generated by the Office of MBAAdmissions in order to develop and inform recruitment strategy and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of thatstrategy. The role will require data analysis and data manipulation in order to achieve the desired position outcomes. A desire andskill set to continuously evaluate and report on data to inform office decision making will be paramount.Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years’ experience of equivalent combination of education and experiencerequired. Master’s degree preferred. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage data are necessary. The ability tothink strategically about admissions, evaluations and selection and recruitment is required. Strong interpersonal skills includingpublic speaking skills are paramount. The ideal candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills, strongdetail orientation, and the ability to work as a high-level contributor, collaborator, and self-starter. A knowledge of the landscape of selective MBA programs preferred.
