Duties

The Assistant Dean/Director of Admissions and Financial Aid is a Senior Executive Leadership position in the Graduate School of Education. The Assistant Dean combines a hands-on operational role with strategic leadership and collegial management of both direct and indirect reports within the school and peer leadership among various University constituencies. Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and administrating school-wide strategic goals and initiatives to recruit highly talented, diverse applicants for all of GSE s graduate programs. Oversees and directs daily operations for the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, including strategic, operational, and financial operations as they relate to recruitment and enrollment of students into all academic programs. Develop strong, collegial relationships with multiple faculty and staff stakeholders and facilitate/encourage a positive consensus driven culture around admissions policies and procedures. Build a professional admissions and financial aid team that effectively promotes an Ivy League Graduate and Professional school and understands and converses freely about the value proposition of such a school. Must be comfortable with complex data analysis and reporting that supports the admissions function. This is a high-visibility position that represents the school in multiple venues and advises the Dean and Senior Leadership team on the best strategic interests of the school, particularly in the areas of admissions and student financial aid.

Qualifications

A Master’s Degree or more and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
