Duties

Oversees all regulatory compliance to human subject research and management at Penn NeuroNEXT site. The scope of this job includes independently developing and managing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and monitoring plans, maintaining records, documenting the completeness of training of clinical staff and a database of NeuroNEXT clinical trial ready subjects across a range of disorders. The Clinical Research Coordinator will also coordinate outreach and education efforts conducted by the Penn NeuroNEXT site. This role will be the liaison between the executive committee and clinical centers. Key components of this job include, IRB/Regulatory Compliance, and NeuroNEXT clinical trial management. The Clinical Research Coordinator will report to the PIs, and join the bimonthly leadership meetings. The Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day management study procedures. The Clinical Research Coordinator will confirm the completeness of regulatory binders for all ongoing studies, assist with budget management for trials and coordinate with individual study PIs and clinical coordinators to ensure that study visits are completed and data entered in a timely manner. The Clinical Research Coordinator will provide primary input during the initiation phase of each NeuroNEXT study, and will support the clinical staff once a study has reached the stage of conducting clinical visits.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years to 6 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
