The School of Social Policy & Practice seeks a professional higher education program coordinator to join the Nonprofit Leadership Hybrid Master’s Degree Program at the School of Social Policy & Practice. The coordinator will work directly with members of the School’s standing and instructional faculty to support the transition of existing face-to face courses into online delivery models and manage the development of online programming for the program.This includes assisting in the day-to-day activities of the NPL Hybrid Program and working closely with the program’s Administrative Director on program needs, providing resources to students and faculty, and assisting with expansion of the program’s reach within Penn and beyond.
Required:Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education program coordination, especially online course development, instructional technology support for academia, or a related training capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Master’s degree preferred.Ability to work effectively with instructors and graduate student and working professional learnersKnowledge of the latest in online pedagogies, instructional design technology tools, and assessmentsStrong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work in small teams and independentlySuperb attention to detail and customer service skillsPreferredExperience with graduate programs*Background in a social policy & practice related field
